Our Largest Fundraiser

The Annual Spring Picnic is the largest fundraiser for the Foundation for the Preservation of the Caroline Dormon Nature Preserve. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue Caroline Dormon’s mission of conservation and education. Donations, plant and merchandise sales, our Friendship Program, and the Spring Picnic all help sustain Briarwood Nature Preserve. This cherished event brings together nature lovers for a day of fellowship, food, and appreciation of Louisiana’s native beauty, ensuring Briarwood thrives for generations to come.
