The Briarwood Bio Bash is a unique event and opportunity for all ages. Participants will have the privilege to attend different workshops outlining everything from edible mushrooms to learning how to create a pollinator garden. We have remarkable individuals from across Louisiana who will be presenting these workshops. Participants are also asked to join the iNaturalist BioBlitz. This event will begin Friday, the 2nd, at time of registration. The winner will be announced on Sunday, the 4th, who will receive a lifetime friendship to Briarwood. Briarwood utilizes iNaturalist to collect data from observations that allow us to continue collecting GPS coordinates of all living organisms on the property. Camping tickets are very limited, but we discuss lodging below.

Can I bring my pets?

We ask that you leave your pets at home.

Is camping allowed?

Limited tent camping space. See tickets below. Email briarwoodnp@gmail.com for questions about RVs and campers.

Is this event stroller or wheelchair accessible?

All workshops are indoors and fully accessible for those with limited walking ability or with children and strollers.

What if we only want to attend one workshop, do we have to pay the full amount?

Tickets are based on the entire day. By purchasing one ticket, that allows one person to attend the entire day, regardless of how many workshops or hikes they attend.

Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting the Briarwood Bio Bash hosted by the Foundation for the Caroline Dormon Nature Preserve. Your participation helps us in our mission to preserve and promote the natural heritage of our region. Please review our return and refund policy below:

Refund Eligibility
- Refunds will be granted only if a request is made at least two weeks prior to the event date.
- No refunds will be given for requests made within two weeks of the event.

Event Cancellation
- If the Briarwood Bio Bash is canceled by the host for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund.

Processing Time
