Built in 1951, Caroline’s cabin is one of the most exciting stops on the tour.
Started by Caroline, the bay garden is the most historical collection of Louisiana Irises.
Tours available March, April, May, October, and November. All tours are guided by a board member or the Curator. The tours can be taken via golf carts or hiking, completely up to the visitor. Tours are $5 per individual, although, donations are accepted.
Visitors will have the chance to see critically endangered species, native plants, and a variety of wildlife. Tours include the viewing of Caroline’s cabin, Wing’s Rest Pond, Bay Garden, Grandpappy, and many other unique places.
There is no “best time” to visit Briarwood, as there is always something unique to see.
